What is 2nd / L? 2nd / L material refers to areas of natural leather that exhibit prominent unique natural patterns (such as pores, blood vessels, wrinkles, and scars inherent to animals), or cowhide vegetable-tanned leather remaining from the production process (including cowhide vegetable-tanned leather that shows discoloration due to UV exposure).

These products are made by utilizing as much as possible the parts of cowhide vegetable-tanned leather that exhibit prominent unique natural patterns or are remnants from the production process. This reduces fabric loss and allows for products to be produced at a reasonable price.

  • As products may be produced by mixing with stock leather of the same color, there may be color differences between parts.
  • As products may be combined with stock belts of the same color, there may be color differences between the main body and the included belt.
  • For Belt B, the joint of the leather may be inside the belt. This does not affect its use.
  • The fabric with unique natural patterns is utilized as much as possible on the back or inside of the main body, so at first glance, there may be no noticeable difference from regular products.
