Regarding products displayed on the Chaotic Origin Dub online shop, we strive to show them with an image that is as close to the actual product as possible. However, the actual color and texture may differ depending on the light source during photography and the monitor you are using.

About leather products

All leather products manufactured by Chaotic Origin Dub use natural leather, and therefore may have natural scars and veins inherent to the material. Even with the same dyeing process, each piece may differ in shade and color finish. Particularly with light-colored vegetable-tanned leather, color variations occur with each production lot. The reverse side of natural leather may have areas where the dye has deeply permeated, resulting in a mottled pattern. Please note that the color of the actual product may differ from the images shown on our web store. These are all unique characteristics of natural leather that will develop a deeper, more appealing character with use, and we ask for your understanding.

    • About payment

    You can pay by credit card (JCB / VISA / Mastercard / American Express) / Shop Pay / PayPal / Paidy / Amazon Pay / Google Pay / Apple Pay / Cash on Delivery (Sagawa Express e-collect).

    For cash on delivery, a COD fee of ¥550 (tax included) will be added to the shipping fee of ¥1,100 (tax included).

    Regarding the receipt

    Please note that we do not issue receipts on this website for the following reasons.

    • Cash on Delivery: The "delivery note" for the item(s) sent can be used as a receipt.
    • Credit Card Payment: The credit card company's "statement of use" can be used as a receipt.

    If paying by cash on delivery, please make the recipient's name (the name on the package's destination) a store or company name.

    Delivery Information

    Delivery times vary depending on the delivery area, so we will inform you of the earliest delivery date by email after confirming your order. Additionally, delivery may be delayed due to traffic conditions or weather after shipment. Please note that even if you specify a delivery date, delivery may not be possible on the specified date for remote islands and some areas.

    Made to order

    Production begins on the order date, and delivery will be approximately 2 to 4 weeks. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and during long holiday periods will be processed after the holiday. In rare cases, irregular situations may occur, such as extended production lead times due to material shortages (e.g., metal fittings or leather) or discontinued products due to material obsolescence.

    Other Products

    In-stock items are usually delivered within 3-5 days. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and during long holiday periods will be processed after the holidays. If an item is out of stock, it will be shipped as soon as it becomes available.

    Shipping fee

    Shipping fees are a flat rate of ¥1,100 (tax included) nationwide, and ¥2,200 (tax included) for Okinawa Prefecture and remote islands. An additional cash-on-delivery fee of ¥550 (tax included) will be added if you choose cash-on-delivery payment. International shipping starts from ¥2,750 (tax included), and prices may vary depending on the weight of the package. Shipping is free for orders totaling ¥33,000 (tax included) or more.

    If you miss the pickup window for your order

    As a general rule, you have seven days from the date of shipment to receive your order. If you are not home, Sagawa Express will notify you with a delivery attempt notice. Please contact Sagawa Express at the number provided on the delivery attempt notice within the seven-day period to arrange for redelivery.

    • If we cannot reach you using the contact information provided in the absence notice, or if we cannot contact you, your order will be automatically returned to us. Even if you have purchased and paid for an order via bank transfer or credit card, if the pickup period expires, the order will be automatically returned to us. If you are unable to receive your product due to unavoidable circumstances such as an unknown address, we will reship it, so please contact Chaotic Origin Dub Co., Ltd. in advance (TEL 03-5432-5332, hours 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM [excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays], or via the inquiry form). For re-delivery, a re-delivery fee of ¥1,650 (tax included) will be added to the billing amount (product price + shipping fee). If you paid by bank transfer or credit card, the re-delivery shipping fee will be transferred, or the return will be made by cash on delivery (¥550 fee, tax included). At the Chaotic Origin Dub online shop, we may restrict your use if you repeatedly refuse to receive items, are absent for long periods, or request re-shipments due to your own circumstances.

    Returns & Exchanges

    Build-to-order product

    Made-to-order products are custom products produced in our workshop after an order is placed. Please understand that we do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. However, if you receive a defective product or a product different from what you ordered, we will accept returns or exchanges. If you wish to return or exchange a product, please contact Chaotic Origindub Co., Ltd. in advance (TEL 03-5432-5332, hours 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM [excluding weekends and holidays], or via the inquiry form) to explain the reason for the return or exchange.

    🖋Please note that we do not accept returns or exchanges in the following cases.

    • If the product has been used at least once
    • If the product is damaged or broken while in the customer's possession
    • If more than 7 days have passed since the product was received

    Other Products

    We cannot accept returns or exchanges for products after they have been shipped, after they have arrived, or after they have been opened or used (products that have been used even once). However, we will exchange products if there is a defect, delivery error, or other fault on our part. Please contact Chaotic Origin Dub Co., Ltd.     Regarding Repairs

    We will repair any damage to metal fittings or leather whenever possible, but please understand in advance that there may be instances where the leather's strength has deteriorated due to aging or parts that cannot be repaired due to their structural design. Generally, we will provide an estimate after receiving the repair item and begin work only after obtaining your approval. However, for your reference, we have listed common repair costs below.     You can select the product with the desired main body color and specify changes in the memo field during the order process, such as "change [part] to [color] when viewed from the front."

    Scissor tooth count change (free)

    It is free to reduce the number of teeth on any product. You can select the desired product and specify "reduce X teeth from the front" or similar instructions in the memo field during the order process.
    *It is generally not possible to increase the number of teeth, so please contact us for consultation.

    Left-handed conversion (free)

    We offer free reverse pattern production for left-handed use on all products. Please select your desired product and specify "for left-handed use" in the memo field during the order process.

    Change Stitch Color (Free)

    You can choose your desired product and place an order by adding instructions in the memo field during checkout, such as "Change stitch color to [color name]."

    Belt length alteration (shortening only, free of charge)

    You can select the desired product and specify "belt cut by 10cm" or similar instructions in the memo field during the ordering process.

    Regarding shear sharpening and adjustment

    We provide after-sales maintenance for sharpening and adjustments. For the first maintenance within the warranty period (2 years), it will be free of charge. (Shipping costs will be borne by the customer.) For subsequent maintenance, the basic fee is 3,300 yen (including tax).
