Material: 2nd / L vegetable-tanned cowhide

What is 2nd / L (Second L)? We handle areas where natural marks of animal origin (pores, blood vessels, wrinkles, scars, etc.) are prominently visible, as well as remnants of vegetable-tanned cowhide (including cowhide discolored by UV light) from the production process, as 2nd / L material.
About outlet products using 2nd / L vegetable-tanned cowhide

These products are made by utilizing, as much as possible, parts where natural marks are prominently visible or remnants of vegetable-tanned cowhide from the production process. By reducing fabric waste, products are produced at a reasonable price.

  • Design and functionality are the same as regular products.
  • There may be color differences between parts as production may involve mixing with stock leather of the same color.
  • There may be color differences between the main body and the included belt as they may be combined with belt stock of the same color.
  • For Belt B, the seam of the leather may be inside the belt. This does not affect its use.
  • Since products are manufactured so that areas with natural marks are placed on the back or inside of the main body as much as possible, it may be difficult to discern a difference from regular products at first glance.
