Material: 2nd / L vegetable-tanned cowhide

What is 2nd / L? We categorize parts of vegetable-tanned cowhide with prominent animal-specific marks (patterns unique to natural materials such as pores, blood vessels, wrinkles, and scars) or remnants from the production process (including vegetable-tanned cowhide showing discoloration due to UV exposure) as 2nd / L material.
About outlet products using 2nd / L vegetable-tanned cowhide

These products are produced by utilizing as much as possible vegetable-tanned cowhide with prominent patterns unique to natural materials or remnants from the production process. This reduces fabric waste and allows products to be made at a reasonable price.

  • The design and functionality are the same as regular products.
  • As products may be made by mixing with stock leather of the same color, there may be color differences between parts.
  • As products may be combined with belt stock of the same color, there may be color differences between the main body and the included belt.
  • For Belt B, the leather seams may be inside the belt. This does not affect usage.
  • We strive to produce products so that areas with patterns unique to natural materials are on the back or inside of the main body as much as possible, so at first glance, there may be no discernible difference from regular products.
